Retailers say “Consumers are shopping for unique pieces”
Jewellery retailers have reported that over the last month, consumers are more conscious when shopping for bespoke pieces and more unique items.
David Law comments “This is something I have been talking about a lot over the past couple of years, but retailers may well have missed the point. It is not caution that is turning consumers to bespoke jewellery, allow me to explain why.
High street and online stores lose the mystic and beauty of that unique piece because the art of being able to speak to an expert, share ideas and innovations as been lost, the passion and desire for that ultimate design and the right price is key. High Street stores have the pressure of commodity on price and price alone,
David Law continues “The exciting world of 3D, bespoke jewellery has become affordable for everyone whatever the budget allowing the shopper to create their own unique piece in a relaxed environment, taking time to make this moment special. It’s all about personal service something that has disappeared in the retail market but certainly not with me.”
Come say hello and let’s see how we can explode your ideas into reality
Latest creation, simplicity is the key
A quite simple design in many way, the client firstly wanted a bespoke ring and a tension style so that the diamond could really be shown off to all its glory. All the ones he had seen in the shops were the same with sharp straight edges. I explained to him that the ring we would design together would be based on a tension set ring, I say based because a true tension set ring is a diamond set between two edge which we can not make in this country because of the alloys that we use in our metals to allow them to pass the British Hallmark. After our initial discussions we came up with a unique style of tension ring with the most beautiful subtle curves.
We are going through the final designs this week, cant wait to share more with you
Blue Diamond Jewellery, A growing Trend in Diamond Jewellery
Blue diamond Jewellery is a growing trend that is gaining popularity within the jewellery community.
The majority of all diamonds that are bought are usually clear or white coloured diamonds. Did you know there is a great choice available out there in the market today and one of them is the blue diamond. If you are looking for something that will stand out more than the usual clear diamonds, you might want to consider designing your piece with the added wow factor of a blue diamond.
Think about the design and how stunning a blue diamond can look wrapped around two white diamonds. David Law can design a bespoke piece of jewellery that can be very eye-catching to everyone that sees it, so book a free consultation today and let your imagination be your only limit.
I am often asked will I save money by buying my diamond on line?
On the face of it the answer might well be yes until you dig a little deeper. Firstly the online store will bombard you with the information that they want you to know, they will write about the colour and the clarity might even mention a little about the symmetry and the polish.
But what does that all mean to you?
Buying a diamond on a certificate and the above information will totally confuse you and might actually mean you spending much more money than you need to.
I have having been selling diamonds for more than 30 year and I am still learning, yet it ceases to amaze me how by visiting a few web sites any one can become an expert. It is just not true, You need to sit with a personal jeweller who will be able to show you samples of different colours, clarity’s and sizes of stones then taking into account not only your budget but information about the person you are to present they will be able to help and advise you so that you can make a conformed choice.
A diamond is the most beautiful and romantic purchase that you will ever make it is not a commodity that should be bought on price.
Seek out your own personal jeweller and let them put romance and mystique back into this special purchase.
You might just save money as well
Bespoke engagement rings vs mass produced
If your planning to propose or have done so then “Congratulations”. Chances are, you’re taking the next step in your special relationship and the ring ends up playing an important part of the overall experience when saying “will you……”
You’re ready, willing, and excited about buying that special diamond ring… though your maybe unsure where to start and what the best options are for you. You might start by gathering information on the Internet about diamonds, even visit your local jewellery store, but the chances are you may end up just be a little more confused than when you started.
Whether you look online or visit a store, in most cases you will find their aim is to sell you what they currently have in stock, which might not really be what you are looking for
I am often asked “So what does the bespoke avenue have to offer me?” and “how much more will it cost me?”
You might be pleasantly surprised with what I am about to share with you.
With the introduction of 3D technology choosing bespoke engagement rings will cost you know more than buying on line or in store. The difference which I believe to be true is the experience and the journey you take with me in becoming part of the overall design process from start to finish.
You will be given an insight to the types of diamonds available so that you will be able to select the perfect diamond for you, and your journey ends up with something as unique as the person you are about to propose too.
I would love to share more with you so drop me a message and say hello, ask me as I love to talk about diamonds and designs
