The Academy is the based in the heart of Londonʼs Knightsbridge. The Academy is one of the first of its kind to be set up to teach either in small class sizes or individually Jewellery CAD design.

 Using a wonderful package created specifically by 3Design for the Jewellery trade you will be taught how CAD designing is revolutionising the way Jewellery is designed.

Course Structure

Learning with David you will be combining traditional techniques with new and exciting world of 3D CAD design

All lessons will be practical and hands on, the lessons will be fun and informative and be based around what is needed to design jewellery in the CAD Format. Core Modules covered include:

Module I

• Introduction to the CAD program and interface

• Learning the basics of designing jewellery on CAD

• Creating your first CAD design

Module 2

• Exploring deeper the power of the 3Design program

• Learning to create designs that are practical to your business needs

• Creating more advanced pieces

Module 3

• Learning to create STL files and waxes

• Learning to create real life rendered images

Module 4

• Creating and working with virtual stock

• Increasing revenue streams while reducing stock holdings

About the Academy

The Academy is one of the first of its kind to be set up exclusively for teaching Jewellery Cad Designing by a working Jeweller. Cutting out the jargon and teaching you what you need to know to run highly successful businesses.

I have created opportunities for Companies or Individuals to learn the power of CAD Designing at my Knightsbridge Studio or in their own work places, homes or colleges.
