Expert and experienced jeweler - a pleasure to work with!

David is an experienced jeweler that very quickly understands your vision and is pro-active in bringing it to life using his wax demos.  

He then works patiently (taking the time to meet) and effectively with you - for example, producing two versions for me, one to my description and a second to how he would recommend it with minor suggestions as an expert.  I of course found his version to be far better!

He is very knowledgeable on the industry and I enjoyed the process of working with him.  This will be the first of many projects with David, I have no doubt, and would highly recommend him.

I cannot find a fault in David's service. From start to finish he is extremely helpful and made sure that I was involved in the design process every step of the way. Even after setting a budget he makes sure that he is either on budget or under and NEVER over which is so reassuring for such a big purchase. Reset and redesigned engagement ring from heirloom

I was looking to get a custom engagement ring made with an heirloom diamond, and we chose David after discussing our ideas with several UK-based jewellers.

He was a great communicator, and we loved the whole process of working with him.

He made two 3D-printed designs to try on, which was helpful. We are so thrilled with the end result, which is really a work of art!

We would recommend David to all of our family and friends, and we hope to work with him again soon for our wedding ring designs.

I was looking for a jeweller who could turn the diamonds from my girlfriends grandmothers ring into a new enagement ring. I got a quote/proposal from a few jewellers / engagmenent ring re-modellers (in and outside of london) and in the end decided to go with David because I wanted to be able to talk directly to the person making the ring and Davids quote was very fair for what I wanted. I had a rough design in mind which David designed along the lines of but also came up with some lovely additional design features which have made the ring very special. David also sourced a Sapphire for me to fit into the design. Overall very very pleased with the finished ring and would reccomend using David for any similar project!

I can’t even begin to put in to words how delighted I am with my ring. Having never had a piece of jewellery made before we didn’t really know what to expect but David made the process so easy and enjoyable. 

The ring is stunning and we enjoyed designing and having it made - which makes it even more perfect.

A personal jeweller with experience who intuitively knows what is important to his clients

David provides excellent professional service – he will happily use modern technology to keep in touch with clients, but with that he provides a traditional, personal touch that is sorely lacking in most corporate jewellers. For instance, he made sure that we were able to use my family’s diamond in our engagement ring, despite it being haughtily rejected by other jewellers. He had a ring created that was perfectly in line with our tastes and that my fiancé loves.

Most impressive was that he provided very calm and clear information at each update on what progress had been made, even as the COVID pandemic rolled across the country, disrupting almost everything else.

David is a personal jeweller with experience and who seems to intuitively know what is important to his clients.

Positive experience during Covid

David was recommended to us by a close friend that he previously assisted with their engagement ring and wedding bands. 

Given we had planned our engagement during the COVID crisis, David was extremely accommodating, easy to communicate with and a most importantly very supportive. We planned meetings through zoom for the design part of the ring, he sent 4D moulds that we could try On to experience the feel of the final product which was amazing in the current climate. We then finally went to receive the rings and it was even better than what we had expected through our interactions. This was a fantastic experience and I would strongly recommend this service to all couples embarking on their experience of getting the engagement ring/ wedding bands made. The flexibility certainly made this a pleasant and stress free experience.

Prior to meeting with David, I had done some of my homework on things to look out for when buying a diamond and ring. One of my colleagues at work referred me to David. David helped me tremendously in figuring out which diamond/ring would be perfect for me and my fiancée. 

David offered excellent customer service, supported my queries when I had them and walked me through the different types of diamonds. He made accommodations due to the current lockdown and organised meetings for me to discuss what I was looking for through digital meetings.

When it came to selecting the actual diamond, we met in person and he walked me though several different diamonds. Once I selected the diamond, there was an excellent, speedy, turnaround time in the development of the ring.

Remodelled Diamond Eternity Ring

I contacted David to remodel my diamond eternity ring. From the initial consultation it was clear that David knew exactly what I wanted. He produced highly professional 3D images and prepared a choice of 2 samples on his 3D printer. The service David provided was excellent. My finished ring is absolutely stunning and exactly what I had wanted. I would highly recommend David as a first class jeweller.

David was truly excellent in creating a bespoke engagement ring for us.  It was something we hadn't ever seen and he hadn't ever created but the time he took to design it (over 30 iterations) was incredible.  He even found us some of the best stones we have seen and surprisingly, were within the budget.  He is a straightforward person who will tell you exactly what you need to hear to make the best decision and his experience is second to none.

David is an absolute gentlemen, first rate jeweller and has a real flair for design. He revamped my wife's engagement ring with a completely new design and some additional stones. She was absolutely delighted with the result! In short, reasons for picking David: a) he is very intuitive at "getting" the brief, even if the client struggles initially to articulate what they want! b) his process involves being able to try on 3D printed models of the shortlisted designs prior to sign off. This is a game changer as it takes away all the guesswork and risk for both sides. c) he is incredibly flexible, works around your availability is a consummate professional. Stunning ring

I contacted David to have an amethyst intaglio dating from the 1st century AD set in a ring.

David made several suggestions keeping in mind the original setting of such stones, and the fragility of it. 

We ended up with a stunning design keeping the original flair with a modern twist. It is absolutely perfect - and I get compliments for it wherever I go!

What can I say about David...

In a world full of people who see weddings as a cash cow David was not.

From the first moment it was clear this is a master craftsmen who has a passion for making beautiful pieces to bring joy to others rather than just cashing in. 

There was no hard sell I gave David my budget and he showed me stone options which were all within my budget without telling me the cost to ensure I picked the stone I loved. The stone largely designed the ring but David’s expert guidance and flexibility of his cad and wax approach meant I ended up with a one off ring with a series of hugely personal touches. I like to think that my ( now) fiancé would have said yes even if the ring was a Haribo one but she has not stopped staring at the ring sending me pictures and sharing with everyone. It’s a beautiful thing to see the woman you love wearing a ring which you designed and that she loves and I cannot thank David enough for this beautiful creation. I met David after carefully searching for the perfect person to design and create an engagement ring for my now wife.

I had met with multiple designers and David was the one that stood out.

What an incredible service. When I set out to buy that all important engagement ring I didn’t know where to look. I scoured the web, walked around Hatton garden but frankly hadn’t a clue what I was doing.
