Combine exquisite british craftsmanship and a perfectly unique design to create your perfect wedding ring that beautifully reflects your style

What Makes Bespoke Wedding Rings So Special?

Although often seen as a necessity rather than something unique, bespoke wedding rings are different – it is about the intimate touches that transform your rings from the standard to the extraordinary.

The very nature of bespoke wedding rings is that they’ll be created especially for you and, therefore, be unique. You may have fixed ideas for your wedding bands, or perhaps you’re looking for some inspiration. In either situation, David can guide & assist you with your requirements.

Let's Chat

David Law’s bespoke creations start with a virtual design consultation. He will sit with you and take the time to listen, explore your ideas and aspirations for your piece, inspire you with his ideas and explain in detail how his design process works.

By taking the time to understand your preferences and requirements for this new commission, David can guarantee that he will make the Jewellery of your dreams.

David Law

‘The Wedding Ring Designer’

“I believe that your wedding ring should symbolise your love and last a lifetime. So I will design and handcraft them in my workshop in Hatton Garden just for you. With a wealth of experience designing bespoke wedding rings, you can be confident that I’ll create the perfect rings just for you.

Over the years, hundreds of couples have trusted me to design and make custom wedding bands just for them. For example, I could create your wedding rings taking inspiration from your love story. For instance, I could incorporate elements from a family heirloom & add stones and engravings. We can look at different widths, profiles, textures and combine precious metals and colours – by choosing bespoke bands, you will have the creative freedom to create a unique design”.

How David Approaches A Bespoke Wedding Ring Commission

David’s wedding ring design process offers unrivalled personal service, design excellence, and the finest British craftsmanship.

Designing your unique wedding bands with David is a collaborative process, with your ideas and thoughts playing an integral part in your rings’ creation. Together, you’ll explore the design, gemstones and precious metal options.

He will produce a selection of designs using 3D CAD (computer-aided design) before creating 3D wax models that allow you to see and try on your rings, giving you a feel of how your finished ring will turn out.

His talented goldsmiths will handcraft your wedding rings at his Hatton Garden workshop with your design approved.

Only once your bespoke wedding rings have passed David’s stringent quality control checks, he will present them to you together with a storybook that maps out your incredible journey.

The Fascinating History Of Wedding Rings

Worldwide, wedding rings are exchanged as part of the traditional marriage ceremony and worn after that as a sign of love and fidelity.
Wedding rings are sometimes called wedding bands and are typically worn on the third finger of the left hand, which has become known as the ring finger. As the circle symbolises eternity, a wedding ring demonstrates the eternal love between you and your spouse.
The custom of wearing a wedding ring dates back to ancient Roman, Greek and Egyptian times. They believed that the ring finger enclosed a vein connected directly to the heart at that time. During the 20th century, it has become common for husbands and wives to wear matching rings.
