David then develops your ideas into a carefully curated personal collection of unique design concepts, together with handpicked mined and lab-grown diamonds or exceptional coloured gemstones, each chosen specifically for you. He uses detailed 3D visualisations and wearable prototypes to refine and perfect every element with you before your chosen design is meticulously handcrafted in his Hatton Garden workshop.

Occasionally, if there are time constraints, this can move faster — a recent bespoke engagement ring was completed in two weeks — but the timeline always depends on the complexity of the design.

What does a bespoke commission cost?

As a guide, a typical commission starts at £1,500, but every commission is different, so it's difficult to give a single figure. Rather than quoting a headline price, the first complimentary conversation is where the scope and cost take shape.

Do you have a minimum spend?

There's no fixed minimum — every commission is considered on its own merits. If you're unsure whether your idea fits, the best next step is simply to talk it through in a Discovery Conversation.

Can you work with my own stones or a family heirloom?

Yes — many commissions begin with an existing stone, inherited piece, or family heirloom that's ready to begin a new chapter. David will talk through the possibilities with you as part of the initial consultation.

How do I get started?

Every commission begins the same way: a complimentary, no-obligation Discovery Conversation, in person at the Marylebone studio, virtually, or via a home visit across London and the Home Counties. There's no pressure to commission afterwards — if a bespoke piece isn't the right path, David will tell you that too.

Is availability limited?
